Wave Terminal is an open-source terminal for MacOS, Linux, and Windows that combines traditional terminal features with graphical capabilities. It includes an SSH connection manager for remote machines, screen splitting and workspace layouts, a built-in VSCode-like editor for remote files, inline file previews (images, Markdown, audio/video, HTML, CSVs), an inline web browser, AI assistance with access to terminal output and filesystem, and customizable widgets and dashboards built with HTML and populated from the CLI. Data is stored locally and no account is required.
