Watchgoose
Cron job monitoring that alerts you when a scheduled task, backup, queue, or script misses its heartbeat.

Watchgoose is a hosted dead man's switch for cron jobs and scheduled tasks. You create a check with a schedule (interval, cron expression, or OnCalendar) and grace period, then have your job send an HTTP ping or email to a per-check address after success. If the next success signal does not arrive by schedule plus grace, or the job reports a failure explicitly, the check goes down and alerts are sent via 12+ channels including email, Slack, SMS, phone calls, PagerDuty, and webhooks. Features include start/failure signals with run durations and exit codes, ping history, status badges and JSON endpoints, projects with role-based team access, a project-scoped API, Prometheus configuration, public status pages, auto-provisioning via slug URLs, and a read-only-by-default MCP server at https://mcp.watchgoose.com/mcp. No agents or SDKs required.
