Thea is a knowledge library of entities (places, people, organizations, works, games, products, and dated records) that humans and public data fill in and AI models consume. It started with about 1.07 million places in Korea from public data sources and is licensed CC BY 4.0, with source-specific terms preserved for underlying data. It is exposed as a read-only MCP server at https://thealibrary.org/mcp (Streamable HTTP, no authentication) with tools thea_search, thea_find, and thea_entry, plus OpenAI-style function definitions at /ai/tools.json and markdown entity pages at /p/{id}.md.
