Poofbox provides disposable, receive-only email inboxes for AI agents. An agent creates an address, signs up for a service, calls wait_for_email to long-poll until the verification email arrives, and receives extracted one-time codes and verification/magic/reset links as structured fields. Inboxes are then deleted, and deleted addresses can be restored (empty) for password resets. Access is via a Streamable HTTP MCP server at https://poofboxmail.com/mcp with OAuth 2.1 (PKCE, dynamic client registration) for Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT and other MCP clients, or via bearer tokens for headless agents. A web dashboard allows manual use. It exposes 9 tools (create_mailbox, wait_for_email, read_email, list_emails, list_mailboxes, delete_mailbox, search_deleted_mailboxes, restore_mailbox, get_account). Receive-only (no sending), hosted in Germany on Hetzner, no tracking cookies. Pricing: Basic €3.99/month, Personal €9.99/month, Pro €34.99/month (+ VAT), billed via Creem; no free plan. The core (SMTP receiver, dashboard, MCP server) is being prepared for an AGPL-3.0 open-source release.
