Ory provides authentication, authorization, and user management via a set of components: Ory Kratos (authentication and identity), Ory Hydra (OAuth2/OpenID Connect server), Ory Keto (fine-grained authorization), Ory Polis (SAML and SCIM), Ory Oathkeeper (zero-trust reverse proxy), Ory Talos (API key and non-human identity security), and Ory Agent Security (identity and access controls for AI coding agents). It is headless, exposing REST and gRPC APIs, and can be deployed as a managed SaaS (Ory Network), self-hosted under the Ory Enterprise License, or self-hosted as Apache 2.0 open source.
