OpenMeter is an open source metering and billing platform for usage-based pricing, acquired by Kong Inc. in September 2025. It ingests usage events in real time, enforces entitlements, quotas, and usage limits, and supports a no-code product catalog with plans, credits, usage-based pricing, and commitments. It integrates with Stripe for invoicing and offers collectors for sources such as Kubernetes, S3, Postgres, ClickHouse, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and LangChain. Available self-hosted (Apache 2.0) or as the managed Konnect Metering & Billing service on Kong Konnect.
