nip.io and sslip.io are DNS services that, when queried with a hostname containing an embedded IP address (IPv4 or IPv6, dot, dash, or hexadecimal notation), return that IP address. Supports subdomains, custom/white-label domains via NS records, self-hosted DNS server binaries, and TLS certificate issuance via Let's Encrypt HTTP-01 challenges. In operation for over ten years, handling over 20k queries per second.
